One Stop Weekly – Guidelines

Since the One Stop Weekly is only intended for timely policy and official updates, it does not include information about ways to be involved on campus, either through internships, employment, leadership positions or attendance at events. Events can be posted on the centralized GetInvolved student events calendar (request a profile) and student employment, internship, and leadership positions can be posted on the Rutgers Handshake career management system.

In addition to the email newsletter, this website has an archive page that contains the current version of the newsletter and an archive of past messages.

  • Only Rutgers faculty and staff can submit information for consideration in the newsletter.
  • Submissions for the One Stop Weekly must be sent using the online submission form.
  • Submissions must be received by Thursday at noon to be considered for the following Tuesday’s publication. Messages must be brief and are limited to 500 characters or about five lines.
  • All submissions are subject to review, approval, editing and placement within the newsletter. The One Stop team will work with submitters to edit content, if necessary.
  • Individuals who submit information to the One Stop Weekly must ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of the submitted material.
  • Flyers and other attachments may not be submitted.
  • Messages from student groups or other unofficial notices will not be posted.
  • Incomplete submissions will not be published or posted.
