The Division of Institutional Planning and Operations has retained a consultant to update the 2006 Housing Master Plan for Rutgers University–New Brunswick and to develop a Housing Master Plan for Rutgers University–Camden. Students are invited to participate in the Housing Master Plan survey, which is an essential component of the outreach and data collection effort. Feedback will help the consultant team understand existing conditions and will ultimately inform the recommendations of each plan. The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will be open until October 25. All responses will be anonymous. Students who have registered for the fall semester are expected to confirm their attendance by the due date indicated on their term bill to avoid late charges, holds, and the loss of university services. Students who have financial aid that completely covers the balance due on their accounts should log in and click on the “Confirm Attendance” button on their term bill here. Students with a balance due can pay by electronic check or by credit card (with a convenience fee). Students who are planning to withdraw from classes for the semester should contact their Dean's office immediately for assistance. 

Sign Up for Electronic Deposit to Receive Refunds—All Students
Students are encouraged to sign up for electronic deposit with RU ScholarRefund for the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds. Funds are available for immediate use once deposited electronically via RU ScholarRefund. Learn more here.

View and Pay Fall Semester Term Bills—All Students
Students are expected to pay term bill charges on or before the first day of classes. Students who register on or after the first day of classes must pay the day of registration. To pay a bill via electronic check (with no fee) or by credit card (with a convenience fee), please log in with netID and password here. Unpaid term bills will be assessed late payment fees. RU Express Cancellation and Reduction Requests—All Students
RU Express initial deposit cancellation and reduction requests for the Fall 2017 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, September 19, 2017. This is the only time during the semester that cancellations or reductions will be allowed and only if the money for the Fall 2017 semester HAS NOT been used. Requests may also be made online here.

PNC Bank ATMs
Rutgers has finalized its agreement with PNC Bank to install new ATMs on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus. The machines have been installed at the following locations: Busch Student CenterCollege Avenue Student Activities CenterCollege Avenue Student CenterCook Student CenterDouglass Student CenterLivingston Student Center, and Livingston Student Housing Building A.

Fall 2017 Add/Drop Dates—Undergraduate Students
September 12: Last day to drop courses without a "W" grade
September 13: Last day to add courses

Normal Webreg hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. The Registrars’ Offices are located at the Administrative Services Building on the Busch Campus in rooms 200B, 200F, and 200L. Offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. View and Pay Fall Semester Term Bills—All Students
Students are expected to pay term bill charges on or before the first day of classes. Students who register on or after the first day of classes must pay the day of registration. To pay a bill via electronic check (with no fee) or by credit card (with a convenience fee), please log in with netID and password here. Unpaid term bills will be assessed late payment fees. Students whose accounts show a balance and are unable to pay the full amount due by the due date should enroll in one of the Rutgers University Tuition Payment Plans (RUTPP) for the fall semester. Sign Up for Electronic Deposit to Receive Refunds—All Students
Students are encouraged to sign up for electronic deposit with RU ScholarRefund for the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds. Funds are available for immediate use once deposited electronically via RU ScholarRefund. Learn more here.

Dining Plan Change and Cancellation Requests—All Students
Dining plan change and cancellation requests for the Fall 2017 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, September 19, 2017. This is the only time during the semester that reductions and cancellations will be allowed. Requests may also be made online here.

RU Express Cancellation and Reduction Requests—All Students
RU Express initial deposit cancellation and reduction requests for the Fall 2017 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, September 19, 2017. This is the only time during the semester that cancellations or reductions will be allowed and only if the money for the Fall 2017 semester HAS NOT been used. Requests may also be made online here.

Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who completed degree requirements in the summer must apply for graduation by completing an Online Diploma Application. Please contact the Undergraduate Registrar’s Office at 848-445-2757 and ask for Monica Licourt Bird or Justin Ingstrup, or email diplomas@registrar.rutgers.edu with any questions. Please note that completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.

PNC Bank ATMs
Rutgers has finalized its agreement with PNC Bank to install new ATMs on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus. The machines have been installed at the following locations: Busch Student CenterCollege Avenue Student Activities CenterCollege Avenue Student CenterCook Student CenterDouglass Student CenterLivingston Student Center, and Livingston Student Housing Building A.

The Daily Targum Funding & Refunds
The Daily Targum is an independent, student-written and managed newspaper that is published by the Targum Publishing Company with a circulation throughout the Rutgers community. The newspaper is published Monday through Friday while classes are in session during the Fall and Spring semesters. Partial funding for the Targum comes from special fees included in each undergraduate student's term bill through a referendum conducted every three years. Students who do not wish to fund the Targum can receive a refund by contacting the newspaper’s Business Office directly at 732-932-7051 or business@dailytargum.com. Your refund request must include the following: name (First, Middle, Last), student ID, Rutgers school (SAS, RBS, etc.), graduation date, date of request, and home address (including zip code). 

Disclosure Statements
Students can find legal disclosures and information concerning academic programs, drug and alcohol policies, including the Drug Free Schools and Campuses Act, the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, institutional and specialized accreditation, nondiscrimination and harassment, Title IX, public safety information, peer-to-peer file sharing, withdrawal from the institution, and more here.

Student Policy Prohibiting Sexual Harassment, Sexual Violence, Relationship Violence, Stalking and Related Misconduct
The policy contains a comprehensive explanation of “consent,” describes the rights that apply to both the accused and accuser and lists the range of protective measures the university may offer during and after the investigation. Learn more here.

Policy Against Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying, and Defamation
Intolerance, bigotry, and bullying are antithetical to the values of the university and the Rutgers Code of Student Conduct prohibits harassment, intimidation, bullying, and defamation. The Code of Conduct contains definitions, descriptions of violations and procedures for addressing violations. Students who wish to discuss any matter with the police or feel they are in need of immediate police attention may contact the Rutgers University Police Department: New Brunswick (732) 932-7111, Newark (973) 353-5111, Camden (856) 225-6111.

Pregnant Students

Suicide Prevention Act
Rutgers has individuals with training and experience in mental health issues who focus on reducing student suicides and attempted suicides. File Sharing Software
The sharing of music and movies through the use of file sharing peer to peer (P2P) software available online is discouraged due to copyright and security issues. In compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), the university has provided guidelines to inform students about copyright laws. Copyright infringement and unauthorized distribution are against the law and will be enforced. Learn more here.

Guidelines for appropriate protection and supervision of minors participating in university-sponsored programs, or in programs operated by outside entities that are held in university facilities, can be found here.

Applications for Membership in Phi Sigma Iota–International Foreign Language Honor Society—All Eligible Students 
Phi Sigma Iota, the International Foreign Language Honor Society, is accepting membership applications through October 6 from juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are currently taking 200-level courses or higher in one or more foreign languages. Applicants must have maintained a 3.5 average or higher in all language courses taken at Rutgers University. Information and application forms are available in the language departments and online here. Instructions are available online for applications submitted via email. Applications for Admission to SC&I Undergraduate Programs—Undergraduate Students
The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is now accepting applications for admission to the Communication, Information Technology and Informatics, and Journalism and Media Studies majors. Visit the SC&I undergraduate admission webpage to review the admission requirements and to access the online application. The deadline for applying online is Friday, October 6, 2017. Schedule of Classes for Winter Now Available—All Students
The schedule of classes for the Winter 2018 term is now available. Earn up to four credits during winter break. Choose from 150 courses in a wide range of subjects. Courses are offered in face-to-face, online or hybrid format. Plan schedules now and begin registering on October 2. Learn more here.

Applications are now being accepted for the Class of 2019 Eagleton Institute of Politics Undergraduate Associates program. Learn about the practice of politics, public policy, and government from experts in the field and build networks to affect positive change.
