Dining Plan Change and Cancellation Requests—All Students
Dining Plan change and cancellation requests for the Spring 2020 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until today, Tuesday, February 4, 2020. This is the only time during the semester reductions and cancellations will be allowed. Requests may also be made online here.

RU Express Cancellation and Reduction Requests—All Students
RU Express initial deposit cancellation and reduction requests for the Spring 2020 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until today, Tuesday, February 4, 2020. This is the only time during the semester cancellations or reductions will be allowed and only if the money for the Spring 2020 semester HAS NOT been used. Requests may also be made online here.

View and Pay Spring Semester Term Bills—All Students
Students can view and pay their spring semester term bills at paymybill.rutgers.edu. Term bills not paid by the due date will be assessed a late payment fee of $125.00. Students can also choose to enroll in a payment plan for assistance with paying their term bill balances at paymentplans.rutgers.edu. Students can authorize a third party or a parent with access to make payments on their behalf. Simply log into the term bill and use the “Manage Access” section to provide access to the designated payer.

Remission on Term Bill
Student Accounting, Billing and Cashier Services (Student ABC) is pleased to announce an enhanced process which displays estimated tuition remission on the Online Term Bill (OTB) for all eligible and appointed remission recipients. Once a student is eligible and appointed, Student ABC will display the estimated tuition remission amount on OTB. With the estimated amount displayed, students will now have the opportunity to proactively address any term bill charges due, that is not covered by the remission benefit, if applicable.

1098Ts
Students should begin gaining access to view and print the 2019 1098T tax forms for Educational Tax Credits. Students with scholarships and grant aid greater than their qualified tuition and fee charges are not eligible to claim a tax deduction and will not see a 1098T form. Learn more about the 1098T form here.

Sign Up for Direct Deposit to Receive Refunds—All Students
Students are strongly encouraged to sign up for direct deposit with RU ScholarRefund for the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds. Funds are available for immediate use once deposited. Learn more and enroll in RU ScholarRefund here.

2020 Summer Session Schedule Now Available—All Students
The schedule of classes for the Summer 2020 term is now available. Choose from more than 2,500 courses in a wide range of subjects, offered in-person, online, or at an off-campus location throughout the state. Make progress towards a degree, improve a GPA, or fulfill a prerequisite this summer. Start planning schedules now and register beginning Monday, February 17. Learn more about Summer Session here.

Applications for the Rutgers–Eagleton Washington Internship Award—Undergraduate Students
The Rutgers–Eagleton Washington Internship Award Program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 to current Rutgers undergraduate students for summer internships in government or the nonprofit sector in Washington, D.C. This monetary award is intended to ease the financial burden of working in Washington, D.C. by offsetting living expenses. Undergraduates from all majors are encouraged to apply. Applicants are not required to have an internship in place at the time of application. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on February 7, 2020. Learn more about the award program here.

Applications for SC&I Undergraduate Admission—Undergraduate Students
The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is now accepting applications for admission to the Communication, Information Technology and Informatics, and Journalism and Media Studies majors. View admission requirements and access the online application here. Applications for the European Summer Institute—All Students
The Master’s Program in Political Science–United Nations and Global Policy Studies at the School of Arts and Sciences is accepting study abroad applications from graduate and high-achieving undergraduate students for the European Summer Institute. This six-week home-stay program exposes students to courses on the EU, UN, migration, gender, and development. The program is in english. Rutgers Day Program Submissions—All Students
The Rutgers Day program submission period is now open. All academic and administrative units, student clubs and organizations, and performance groups are encouraged to submit a program and participate in the largest annual outreach event the university offers. Rutgers Day is on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and programs must be submitted by February 17. Visit the Rutgers Day website by logging in with a NetID to submit a program, review guidelines and policies, and download marketing materials to promote activities.

Rutgers Internship Excellence Awards—Undergraduate Students
The Rutgers Internship Excellence Awards, sponsored by the Office of Career Exploration and Success, was established to help recognize the outstanding contributions of Rutgers–New Brunswick undergraduate interns. Winners will be recognized at the Career Knights of Distinction awards dinner on Thursday, April 30, and also receive a $200 award. The application deadline is March 1, 2020. Learn more and about how to apply here.

Applications for the Rutgers Law 3+3 Program (Bachelor’s/J.D. Dual Degree)—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students considering law school can complete the Rutgers Law 3+3 Program in just six years, instead of the usual seven years to earn an undergraduate and law degree. The program is open to students across all Rutgers campuses who complete the application process by March 1 of their third undergraduate year. More information about the 3+3 Program can be found here. Student Credit Available for 4th Annual Writers' Conference—All Students
Students looking to sharpen writing skills, earn 1.5 credits, and network with agents, editors, and publishers this summer are encouraged to attend the 4th Annual Writers’ Conference. The conference is held from June 5-7, 2020. Students can hear from bestselling novelists including Jane Smiley (A Thousand Acres), Billy Collins (Sailing Alone Around the Room: New & Selected Poems), and many others. Students may apply to attend the conference for free by March 13 if registering for no credits. Learn more and register here.

Did you know that student tickets are now available for the Summer Writers' Conference kick-off event featuring Ira Glass? Ira Glass is the host and creator of the public radio program This American Life. This event includes an exclusive talk featuring audio clips, music, and videos about lessons Glass has learned throughout his life and career. This event will take place on June 5 at 7 p.m. at the Nicholas Music Center on the Douglass Campus. Students receive a special rate of $20 per ticket. Learn more and buy tickets here.
