Dining Plan Change and Cancellation Requests—All Students
Dining Plan change and cancellation requests for the Spring 2019 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office in room 102 of Records Hall on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, February 5. This is the only time during the semester reductions and cancellations will be allowed. Requests can also be made online here.
RU Express Cancellation and Reduction Requests—All Students
RU Express initial deposit cancellation and reduction requests for the Spring 2019 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office in room 102 of Records Hall on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, February 5. This is the only time during the semester cancellations or reductions will be allowed and only if the money for the Spring 2019 semester has not been used. Requests can also be made online here.
1098T Forms—All Students
1098T tax forms for 2018 are now available at 1098T.rutgers.edu. Students who have questions regarding their 1098T can email 1098T@sa.rutgers.edu.
No Walk-Ins at the Office of Financial Aid on Friday, February 8—All Students
The Office of Financial Aid will be holding an in-service day on Friday, February 8, in an effort to improve the student experience. This means that the office at Records Hall will be closed to walk-ins for the day. Students seeking help are welcome to call the office and speak to a representative at 848-932-7057, or send an email.
Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who anticipate completing May 2019 degree requirements must apply for graduation by submitting a diploma application online. Please contact the Undergraduate Registrar’s Office at 848-445-2757 and ask for Monica Licourt or Michael Rusen, or email diplomas@registrar.rutgers.edu with any concerns about a diploma application. Please note that completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.
Applications for SC&I Undergraduate Majors—Undergraduate Students
The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is now accepting applications for admission to Communication, Information Technology and Informatics, and Journalism and Media Studies majors. View admission prerequisites and access the online application here. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2019. Rutgers Day Program Submissions—All Students
The Rutgers Day program submission period is now open. All academic and administrative units, student clubs and organizations, and performance groups are encouraged to submit a program and participate in the largest annual outreach event the university offers. Rutgers Day is on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and programs must be submitted by February 15. Visit the Rutgers Day website by logging in with a NetID to submit a program, review guidelines and policies, and download marketing materials to promote activities.
Call for Participants in the Graduate Student Colloquium on Paul Robeson—Graduate Students
Master and doctoral-level students are invited to register as teams of three or four for the Graduate Student Colloquium on Paul Robeson: Alum, Activist, Scholar, Athlete, and Global Citizen. This colloquium takes place on April 5 in the Rutgers Academic Building on the College Avenue Campus. The first place team will receive a prize of $1,000, second place will receive $500, and third place receives $250. One undergraduate student can be included on each team. Applications and presentation proposal abstracts are due by March 1. This colloquium is part of the Paul Robeson Centennial celebration. Learn more about guidelines and register here.
Study Abroad Applications—All Students
Applications for summer, fall, and academic year study abroad programs are due Friday, March 1. Applications for Spring 2020 are also open and are due on October 1. Walk-in hours are Monday–Friday, noon–3 p.m., at Rutgers Global–Study Abroad on the College Avenue Campus. Learn more, search programs, and apply here.
Apply to Study Shakespeare in England this Summer—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students may witness Shakespeare's work as it was meant to be seen and learn about the challenges and complexities of Shakespearian production by site visits to some of the United Kingdom's most famous theaters. Performances in the Globe Theatre in London and by the Royal Shakespeare Company are major parts of this four-week, three-credit summer program. The application deadline is March 1. Learn more here.
Apply to Study at the Fez Morocco Ethnographic Field School this Summer—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students may apply to practice ethnographic research methods while conducting fieldwork in the historical city of Fez, Morocco. During this four-week, six-credit program, students engage in guest lectures, spiritual music concerts, and cultural immersion while living with Moroccan families. 2019 Summer Session Schedule Now Available
The schedule of classes for the Summer 2019 term is now available. Choose from more than 2,500 courses in a wide range of subjects, offered in-person, online, or at off-campus locations throughout the state. Make progress towards graduation, improve a GPA, or fulfill a prerequisite this summer. Start planning schedules now and register beginning on February 18. Learn more here.

Did you know that Wednesday, February 6, and Thursday, February 7, is the Spring Career & Internship Mega Fair? An anticipated group of nearly 300 employers (different employers each day) will be available to network with candidates to discuss full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities from a wide variety of fields. This event is only open to Rutgers University (New Brunswick, Camden, Newark, and RBHS) students and alumni from all academic disciplines and will be held at the Louis Brown Athletic Center/Rutgers Athletic Center (RAC).
