Important Information Regarding COVID-19

Registration for Winter Term Has Begun—All Students
Registration for the Winter 2021 term has begun. Earn credits towards a degree during winter break and choose from more than 150 courses in a wide range of subjects. Learn more about Winter Session here.
Flu Vaccination Clinics—All Students
Flu vaccination clinics will run throughout October 2020. All clinics will run from 1–6 p.m. Students must make an appointment via the Patient Portal at nbstudenthealthportal.rutgers.edu. In the interest of practicing safe physical distancing, walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Students may also make an appointment for vaccination at Hurtado Health Center. New Jersey Voter Registration Deadline Is Coming Soon—All Students
The N.J. voter registration deadline for the 2020 General Election is Tuesday, October 13. Students who have been previously registered on campus but are living at a different address should list their residence hall name in BOX 10 as the Last Place You Registered to Vote. Students can complete voter registration or address changes online or by paper.
Sign Up for Scarlet Days of Service—All Students
As part of Rutgers' commitment to civic engagement and the prideful tradition of giving back to communities, students are invited to answer the Knight’s Call and participate in virtual Scarlet Days of Service from October 5–11. Students can choose from a meaningful virtual service opportunity, connect with a local organization independently, or share a service project that a student has created themselves. Applications for the Eagleton Undergraduate Associates Program—Juniors in all Rutgers Schools
Applications are being accepted for the Class of 2022 Eagleton Institute of Politics Undergraduate Associates Program. This program is open to juniors from all Rutgers campus locations. Students learn about political power and decision-making while building knowledge, leadership, and professional skills. Students will also build networks for political, government, and community engagement and gain valuable experience in summer or fall internships. The application deadline is October 30, 2020. Scarlet Knight Challenge—Undergraduate Students
Complete the Scarlet Knight Challenge before the end of October by attending highlighted events. New students who take the challenge will have the opportunity to build connections with students who are part of the Rutgers community and connect with resources and services that will assist them in their transition. Those who complete the challenge will be entered to win various grand prizes. This contest is exclusively open to all first-year and new transfer students. Did You Know
Did you now that October 7–9 is Virtual Global Culture Fest? The Cultural Center Collaborative, within the Division of Student Affairs, invites students to celebrate diverse communities at Rutgers. This virtual event features a performance of The Trouble with My Name by Javier Ávila, interactive sessions presented by Rutgers Global and the Multicultural Greek Council, a cultural council student leader panel, and special student performances.
