Registration for Summer Session—All Students

Spring 2022 Add-Drop Dates—Undergraduate Students
Through March 21: Undergraduate drop period with a "W" grade
April 18: Last day to withdraw from the university for Spring 2022

Financial

Scarlet Guarantee—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students in their first and second years of study may qualify for the Scarlet Guarantee (SG) commencing Fall 2022. The SG, mirrored after the Garden State Guarantee, reflects Rutgers–New Brunswick's commitment to making a college degree more accessible and affordable by reducing the out-of-pocket costs for students and families. Eligible applicants must be New Jersey residents working toward their first bachelor’s degree and file the 2022–2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 15, 2022. Learn more about the Scarlet Guarantee here.

Garden State Guarantee—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students in their third and fourth years of study may qualify for the Garden State Guarantee (GSG) commencing Fall 2022. The GSG is New Jersey’s promise to make a college degree more accessible and affordable by reducing the out-of-pocket costs for students and families. Eligible applicants must be New Jersey residents working toward their first bachelor’s degree and file the 2022–2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 15, 2022. Financial Holds—All Students 
Financial holds have been placed on accounts with unpaid balances. These holds will prevent students from registering for Fall 2022 semester classes. Students enrolled in tuition payment plans should make sure their accounts are current. Financial aid recipients should review aid packages and check required documents on the Financial Aid webpage to make sure all documents have been submitted. Students can view the balances on their accounts here.

Set Up Electronic Deposit to Receive Refunds Faster—All Students
Students are strongly encouraged to set up direct deposit for the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds. Funds are available for immediate use once deposited electronically. Learn more about electronic deposit here.

One Stop Student Services Center and Walk-Ins—All Students
The One Stop Student Services Center (One Stop) at Rutgers University–New Brunswick represents an integrated and coordinated cross-functional service in the areas of financial aid, student accounts, and registration.  One Stop acts as a “single point of service” across these areas to promote a progressive, simplified, and consistent student experience and a culture that supports student satisfaction and success. Questions can be submitted using the contact form, by phone at 848-445-4636 (INFO), or by visiting the One Stop at Dr. Samuel Dewitt Proctor Hall located at 65 Davidson Road on Busch Campus. No appointments are necessary for walk-ins. The center is open Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students can follow updates from One Stop on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

General

Rutgers University–New Brunswick Bus Tip Contest—All Students
Students are encouraged to share tips to best help new students navigate the Rutgers University–New Brunswick Campus Bus System. Tips can be related to schedules, routes, etiquette, Transloc, apps, or anything else that is helpful. Tip submissions will be accepted until Friday, March 4, and participants who send a tip may enter into a drawing to win a $100 gift card to kite+key®, Rutgers Tech Store. Rutgers Student Food Pantry and No Hungry Knights Award—All Students
Students who are experiencing food insecurity can access the Rutgers Student Food Pantry at no cost. Only a valid RUID is required. Learn more about the Rutgers Student Food pantry and schedule an appointment here. In addition, students may apply for a No Hungry Knights Award. Created by generous donors, these awards fund full or partial meal plans for eligible students. Learn more and apply for the No Hungry Knights Award here.

Academics

Workshops and Resources for Midterm Exams—All Students
The Rutgers Learning Centers are offering resources to help students with midterm exams and optimize learning this semester. Academic Success Series workshops demonstrate techniques that help students excel in courses. Please register for Academic Success workshops here. GRE Prep Workshops are also available and provide students with strategies and hands-on activities to better help prepare for exams. Cycle 1 will be held in-person in room 111 at Tillett Hall on the Livingston Campus on March 2, 4, and 7. Please register for a GRE workshop here.

Applications for the Ralph W. Voorhees Fellowship in Public Service—Undergraduate Students
The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy has established the Ralph W. Voorhees Fellowship Program in Public Service to honor Mr. Voorhees' commitment to community service. Each year, the school selects undergraduates from any major at Rutgers–New Brunswick who are dedicated to civic engagement. Fellows receive $5,000 and participate in a credit-bearing partnership with community organizations. Applications for the Eagleton Fellowship Program—Graduate Students
Applications are being accepted for the 2022–2023 Eagleton Fellowship Program in Politics and Government and is open to Rutgers graduate students in all schools on the New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden campuses. Stipends and tuition remission are available. Fellows learn about real-world American politics, government, and public affairs. Students may complete the program while pursuing a degree, and an interdisciplinary cohort and curriculum connects the fellowship experience to a chosen field of study. Funded Research in American Politics—Undergraduate Students
Research proposals are being accepted for the John & Ann Holt Endowed Undergraduate Applied Research Fund in American Politics. Rutgers juniors and seniors from all campuses can receive research support for undergraduate research on an issue of American politics of contemporary significance through a bipartisan lens. To apply, research proposals, unofficial transcripts, writing samples, and letters of recommendation should be submitted to ematto@eagleton.rutgers.edu by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022. Applications Open for the Bloustein School’s Graduate Certificate in Public Policy—All Students
Applications for the graduate certificate in Public Policy at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy are being accepted  A graduate certificate can be earned after just 4 courses, and the GRE is not required. No work experience is necessary, and convenient online and evening course options are available. The application deadline for Fall 2022 is July 1, 2022.

Social Work Scholarships and the MSW Priority Deadline—Undergraduate Students
Applications are being accepted for the Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program at the School of Social Work.
