Important Information Regarding COVID-19

One Stop Student Services Center Closure on Tuesday, May 10—All Students
The One Stop Student Services Center will be closed on Tuesday, May 10, and will resume normal in-person hours on Wednesday, May 11. During the closure, One Stop can still be reached via the contact form.

End-Of-Year Residence Hall Closing—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students living on campus must vacate their residence hall or apartment within 24 hours of their last final exam OR by Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 10 a.m. (whichever comes first). Registration for Summer Session—All Students
Registration for Summer Session 2022 is in progress. Choose from 2,500 course selections in a wide range of subjects. Get ahead or stay on track for graduation with courses this summer. Learn more about Summer Session here.

Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who anticipate completing May 2022 degree requirements must apply for graduation by submitting a diploma application online or a hard copy if the deadline has been missed. The May diploma deadline is Sunday, May 15, 2022. Any questions concerning a diploma application can be sent to the One Stop Student Services Center via this contact form. Please note that completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.

Financial

Financial Holds—All Students 
Financial holds have been placed on accounts with unpaid balances. These holds will prevent students from registering for Fall 2022 semester classes. Students enrolled in tuition payment plans should make sure their accounts are current. Financial aid recipients should review aid packages and check required documents on the document upload page to make sure all documents have been submitted. Students can view the balances on their accounts here.

Set Up Electronic Deposit to Receive Refunds Faster—All Students
Students are strongly encouraged to set up direct deposit for the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds. Funds are available for immediate use once deposited electronically. Learn more about electronic deposit here.

Payment Implications of Russian Sanctions—All Students 
Due to Visa and Mastercard’s decision to suspend coverage in Russia, Flywire has temporarily deactivated all credit/debit card payments originating from Russia to minimize any impact to payers. At this time, Flywire can accept bank transfer payments from Russia for payers seeking to send destination currency. Payers should work directly with their bank to understand any limitations the sanctions may impose on moving money abroad.

One Stop Student Services Center and Walk-Ins—All Students
The One Stop Student Services Center (One Stop) at Rutgers University–New Brunswick represents an integrated and coordinated cross-functional service in the areas of financial aid, student accounts, and registration.  One Stop acts as a “single point of service” across these areas to promote a progressive, simplified, and consistent student experience and a culture that supports student satisfaction and success. Questions can be submitted using the contact form, by phone at 848-445-4636 (INFO), or by visiting the One Stop at Dr. Samuel Dewitt Proctor Hall located at 65 Davidson Road on Busch Campus. No appointments are necessary for walk-ins. The center is open Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students can follow updates from One Stop on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

General

256^th Anniversary Commencement—Undergraduate Students
The Rutgers 256^th Anniversary Commencement takes place on Sunday, May 15, at SHI Stadium. Gates open at 8 a.m., graduates must arrive by 9 a.m., and the ceremony will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Please allow ample time for parking, travel, and entry to SHI Stadium as traffic will be heavy. Shuttle buses will be running from the Livingston Campus Orange Zone, the College Avenue Student Center, and the New Brunswick Train Station to Busch Campus, near the stadium. Parking passes will be available on the day of Commencement ONLY on the College Avenue Campus to purchase for $10. Please dress for weather and wear comfortable shoes and leave the heels at home. Commencement is held rain or shine and guests and graduates can expect a healthy amount of walking. Please leave bags at home. Graduates and guests with bags will be directed to specific entry gates at which bags will be subject to search, which may hinder admittance.

Graduates must arrive by 9 a.m. and are encouraged to come early so as not to miss the Shout Out Videos. Once in the stadium, please head toward the marshaling area which is located in the South end of the stadium, under the student section and video board.  GradImages Photography will be on-site for Commencement day photos near the marshaling area. Students who are eligible to graduate from two schools may sit with either one.

Learning Center Services Updates—All Students
The Rutgers Learning Centers offer academic support services that allow students to enhance their academic performance and build a learning community of peers. In-person and online services such as tutoring, academic coaching and writing tutoring, will be offered throughout the final exam period and during summer session. Access these services and learn more about other services and hours here. Apply Now for Admission to SC&I Undergraduate Majors—Undergraduate Students
The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is now accepting applications for admission to the Communication, Information Technology and Informatics, and Journalism and Media Studies majors. The deadline for applying online is Friday, May 27, 2022. Visit the SC&I undergraduate admission webpage to review the application guidelines and deadlines, and to access the online application. \Register for Bloustein School's Virtual Information Sessions for their Master’s programs in Public Informatics, Health Administration, and Public Affairs and Politics—All Students
The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy is hosting virtual information sessions starting this week for their master’s programs in Public Informatics, Health Administration, and Public Affairs and Politics. The GRE is waived for Fall 2022 applications, and the deadline to apply is July 1, 2022. Students must RSVP to attend an information session. Learn more and register for a session here.

Applications for the graduate certificate in Public Policy at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy are being accepted. A graduate certificate can be earned after just 4 courses, and the GRE is not required. No work experience is necessary, and convenient online and evening course options are available. The application deadline for Fall 2022 is July 1, 2022.

The Virtual Tri-State Career & Internship Fair Hosted by Rutgers will be virtual this year on May 20 from noon to 4 p.m. This event is only open to Rutgers University students and alumni from all academic disciplines and the general public.
