Regular Classes End This Week
Wednesday, December 13, is the last day of regular classes for the semester. Thursday, December 14, is a Reading Day, and the final exam period begins on Friday, December 15.

Winter Break Hall Closing
Certain residence halls on the Rutgers–New Brunswick campus will close at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 22, for the beginning of the Winter Recess. Residence halls will re-open on Sunday, January 14, at 9 a.m. Prior to moving out, please consult and complete the closing checklist in its entirety to help ensure that all students may return to a warm and welcoming community after break. Residence Life staff will conduct closing room checks. Students should contact their Residence Life staff with any questions. View a full list of buildings closing for break here.

2018–2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Is Now Available
The 2018–2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. Continuing students should file before the January 15 priority deadline. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) is also available for the 2018–2019 FAFSA, making it even easier to submit 2016 tax information. Late Registration for Winter Term—All Students
Registration for winter courses is ongoing, but students will be assessed a $125 late fee. Earn up to four credits during winter break and choose from 150 courses in a wide range of subjects. Courses are offered in face-to-face, online, or hybrid format. Learn more here.

Did You Know

Did you know that Rutgers is vying for a prestigious title in the culinary world as the college that serves the best-blended, healthier hamburger and is asking for help getting past the goal line? The university’s Dining Services is competing in the James Beard Foundation’s first Blended Burger Project, Campus Edition. The winner is selected based on the number of votes the burger receives during the contest, which ends December 15.
