Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who anticipate completing May 2018 degree requirements must apply for graduation by submitting an Online Diploma Application. For questions concerning a diploma application, please contact the Undergraduate Registrar’s Office at 848-445-2757 and ask for Monica Licourt or Justin Ingstrup, or email diplomas@registrar.rutgers.edu. Please note that the completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.

Fall 2018 Registration—All Students
Registration for the Fall 2018 semester began on Sunday, April 15, for New Brunswick undergraduate and graduate students and continues through Friday, April 27. Registration is by degree credits already earned. Please email studenthelp@registrar.rutgers.edu with any questions or for additional information. Learn more and view the registration schedule here.

Open Hearing on the University’s Tuition, Fees, and Housing and Dining Charges for 2018–2019—All Students
All students and members of the university community are invited to attend the April 25 open hearing hosted by the university’s Board of Governors’ Committee on Academic and Student Affairs and Committee on Finance and Facilities. The open hearing takes place at 6 p.m. in the College Avenue Student Center, with videoconference viewing options also available. Learn more here.

Take the #iSPEAK Survey about Campus Sexual Assault—All Students
The #iSPEAK survey is now available for all Rutgers−New Brunswick students to take and will be open through the end of the semester. In 2014, Rutgers launched the first #iSPEAK survey to learn about students’ experiences of, attitudes about, and awareness of campus sexual assault and resources to address it. Students who complete the survey are entered to win one of various cash prizes, including ten $300 cash prize drawings. Students may share why they are taking the survey by using #iSPEAK on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and by following @RU_iSPEAK on Facebook and Twitter. Students may also use the #iSPEAK Geofilter on Snapchat to share why they are speaking up. Take the survey here.

Volunteers Needed for University Commencement—All Students
The Office of the Secretary is seeking students to volunteer as Commencement Ambassadors for Rutgers University's 252nd Anniversary Commencement on Sunday, May 13, 2018. Co-workers, friends, neighbors, and family members may also volunteer. All Ambassadors receive event training, a Commencement T-shirt, a thank-you gift, a light breakfast buffet before Commencement, snacks, entry into a volunteer raffle, and the satisfaction of making the day even better for Rutgers' newest alumni. A few hours of volunteering helps make this event a special experience for the Rutgers Class of 2018. Learn more and register here.

Doing Business in Israel: Summer Session Course and Trip—All Students
Registration for the new Rutgers–New Brunswick Summer Session course, Doing Business in Israel, is now open. Students can complete credits while in Israel this summer from June 7-17. This course provides a comprehensive and hands-on understanding of the dynamics of all types of innovation and entrepreneurship, and students will develop a deep understanding of the social, economic, and cultural environment in Israel, and how these dynamics affect local and foreign firms. The program is open to all undergraduate students. Rutgers Business School Students should inquire about potential scholarships available through RBS; students in other programs may be able to access scholarships/subsidies through their own schools. The course fee, excluding tuition, is due on May 1. Summer Session 2018 Registration—All Students
Registration for Summer Session 2018 is ongoing. Choose from over 2,500 courses in a wide range of subjects, offered in-person, online, or at off-campus locations throughout the state. Make progress toward graduation, improve a GPA, or fulfill a prerequisite this summer. The last day to register for Session I without a late fee is May 3. Registration for Sessions II and III without a late fee will continue through June 1 and June 15, respectively. Students who register and pay after these dates will be assessed a $125 late fee. Registration for RU @ the Shore—All Students
Registration for Rutgers University’s RU @ the Shore is ongoing. Take Rutgers courses in hybrid format at Point Pleasant Beach. Courses begin June 25. Learn more here.

Study Abroad Applications—All Students
Applications for Spring 2019 study abroad programs are open and due on October 1. Learn more, search programs, and apply here. Walk-in hours are Monday–Friday, noon-3 p.m., at Rutgers Global–Study Abroad on the College Avenue Campus.

Did You Know

Did you know that Friday, April 27, is the NJ Statewide Career and Internship Fair? This is the chance for an anticipated group of 170 employers to network with close to 2,000 candidates and discuss full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities from a variety of fields. This event is open to all Rutgers University students and alumni from all academic disciplines, as well as the general public. This fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Louis Brown Athletic Center (the RAC) on the Livingston Campus. Learn more here.
