You are encouraged to check this site frequently.

Final Exam Schedules—All Students
Rutgers–New Brunswick students can now view their final exam schedules in the "My Course Schedule" widget on their myRutgers dashboard, which replaces the former final exam schedule website. Learn how to view exam schedules via the "My Course Schedule" widget here.

Residence Hall Closures—All Students
Students whose residence halls will be closing for the winter break must vacate by 7 p.m. on Friday, December 23. More information regarding closures, checklists, on-campus services during winter break, and a list of residence halls that will remain open can be found here.

One Stop Student Services Center Closure on Tuesday, December 13—All Students
The One Stop Student Services Center will be closed on Tuesday, December 13, and will resume normal in-person hours on Wednesday, December 14. During the closure, One Stop can still be reached via the contact form.

Registration for Winter Term—All Students
Winter Session begins on December 23. Earn credits towards a degree during winter break and choose from 150 courses in a wide range of subjects. Learn more about winter session here.

Fall 2022 Add/Drop Dates—Undergraduate Students
Thursday, December 15, is the last day to withdraw from the University for Fall 2022. Normal Webreg hours are 6:30 a.m.—midnight, Monday through Friday, and 6:30 a.m.—2 p.m. on Saturdays. Learn more and view the Fall 2022 Undergraduate Calendar here. Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who anticipate completing January 2023 degree requirements must apply for graduation by submitting a diploma application online or a hard copy if the deadline has been missed. The deadline is January 15, 2023. Submit diploma application questions to the One Stop Student Services Center. Please note that completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.

Financial

RU Here Winter 2023—All Students
Students must verify their attendance through the RU Here process at the start of each semester that they are registered to take classes. To remain enrolled in courses, students registered for Winter 2023 must complete the RU Here process by January 3, 2023. Learn more about the RU Here process here.

Winter 2023 Term Bills—All Students
Winter Session 2023 term bills were due on December 5, 2022. Term bills can be paid online through OTB.

Taxable Tuition Remission—Students Who are Staff or Faculty
Please be aware that the full value of staff/faculty graduate tuition remission is subject to federal and New Jersey state tax withholding. Please refer to the 2023 Tax Withholding Schedule for Spring 2023 withholding dates.

Spring 2023 Payment Plans—All Students
Spring 2023 payment plans are open for enrollment and students can pay term bills in convenient monthly payments. Learn more about creating a payment plan here.

Set Up Direct Deposit to Receive Refunds Faster—All Students
Direct deposit is the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds issued by Rutgers. All students are required to enroll in direct deposit. Please note that direct deposit is currently not available for summer or winter refunds. View instructions for setting up direct deposit here.

Cash Payments & Change in Operating Hours—All Students
Due to the health and safety concerns associated with handling cash for students and staff, it is strongly encouraged that students use electronic payment methods instead of cash payments for paying term bills. Please review payment options and the Cash Handling Policy for more information. The Payment Center at Dr. Samuel Dewitt Proctor Hall on the Busch Campus will be operating at reduced hours for in-person payments for the month of December: Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Information for Federal Government's Student Debt Relief Plan—All Students
The federal government has announced a plan to cancel up to $10,000 in federal student debt for Americans earning less than $125,000 per year ($250,000 for couples), and up to $20,000 for borrowers who received Pell Grants while they were in college. Learn more about the debt relief program here.

GradGuard Epidemic Coverage Endorsement—All Students
Rutgers University has partnered with GradGuard to make the Tuition Protection Insurance Plan available to students and families. The plan helps students and their families overcome the financial losses that may result from events that force students to withdraw from the semester due to a covered medical reason, including mental health conditions and illness from epidemic and pandemic diseases. myGuest Authorized User Access for Term Bills, Grades, and More—All Students
Students can authorize a third party or a parent with access to review academic records, view financial aid rewards, or make payments on their behalf. To grant this access, students must log in to their myRutgers Dashboard, and use the "Authorized Access" icon to provide access to the desired authorized party. Additional instructions for the myGuest Dashboard can be found here.

One Stop Student Services Center and Walk-Ins—All Students
The One Stop Student Services Center (One Stop) at Rutgers University–New Brunswick represents an integrated and coordinated cross-functional service in the areas of financial aid, student accounts, and registration.  One Stop acts as a “single point of service” across these areas to promote a progressive, simplified, and consistent student experience and a culture that supports student satisfaction and success. Questions can be submitted using the contact form, by phone at 848-445-4636 (INFO), or by visiting the One Stop at Dr. Samuel Dewitt Proctor Hall located at 65 Davidson Road on Busch Campus. No appointments are necessary for walk-ins. The center is open Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students can follow updates from One Stop on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Engagement Hub Is Here—Undergraduate Students
The Engagement Hub is a new addition offered by the Student Activities Center and will serve as a resource for students looking to get involved on campus. The Engagement Hub is the home for the Engagement Ambassadors who are knowledgeable undergraduate student consultants who serve as a resource for their fellow Scarlet Knights. Preparing for Finals: Learning Centers Services—All Students
The Rutgers Learning Centers offer academic support services, both in-person and online, until the end of the final exam period. To view drop-in tutoring schedules or to make an academic coaching or writing tutoring appointment, please visit the Online Services Page. Students can also get asynchronous feedback and general comments from a tutor on their writing by uploading a draft of their paper to the Learning Center Canvas page. Finals Prep workshops are also available online and in-person. These workshops show students how to create a study plan and provide useful strategies for preparing for upcoming exams. Learn more, view workshop dates, and register here. 

Applications for the Leadership Scholars Certificate Program—Undergraduate Students
The Institute for Women's Leadership is accepting applications for the Leadership Scholars Certificate Program. This two-year and 19-credit certificate program explores women’s leadership for social change, with benefits such as a career-building internship, funding for self-designed social action projects, and building community with other young women leaders. Applications for the Rutgers-Eagleton Washington Internship Award—Undergraduate Students
The Eagleton Institute of Politics is accepting applications for the Rutgers-Eagleton Washington Internship Award. The $6,000 award supports outstanding Rutgers students who are interested in completing an unpaid, non-profit government internship in Washington D.C. during Summer 2023. This opportunity is open to all class years, including first years and graduating seniors, all majors, and all campus locations. Applicants do not need to have an internship secured at the time of application. The application deadline is Friday, February 10, 2023, at 5 p.m. Learn more and apply here.

Applications for the Ph.D. Program in Industrial Relations and Human Resources—All Students
The School of Management and Labor Relations is accepting applications for the Ph.D. program in Industrial Relations and Human Resources (IRHR) from Rutgers undergraduate and graduate students of all majors and concentrations. The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy is accepting applications for their master’s programs in Public Informatics, Health Administration, and Public Affairs & Politics. The GRE is waived for Fall 2023 applications and scholarships are available. The deadline to apply is July 1, 2023, and no work experience is necessary. Learn more here.

Applications for the Master’s Program in Political Science–Concentration in the United Nations and Global Policy Studies and Virtual Inforamation Sessions—Undergraduate Students
The Department of Political Science at the School of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications from high-achieving undergraduate students for the Accelerated Master’s Program in Political Science–United Nations and Global Policy Studies (UNMA) on a rolling basis. This 36-credit program gives students an opportunity to reduce graduate program costs and obtain an M.A. degree in a shorter time. Student Success Resources

Success.rutgers.edu is dedicated to helping students find all of the services and resources to succeed and is organized around four themes: Success Essentials, Academic Support Services, Involvement & Community, and Experiential Learning & Career Preparation. The site is easily searchable and includes important "How To" instructional videos and guides for topics such as Course Scheduling, Add/Drop, Canvas, Teams, the Handshake Career Management platform, and more.

Jobs, Internships and Leadership Positions

Students should regularly check out the employment listings available on Rutgers Handshake, your primary career management portal brought to you by the Office of Career Exploration and Success. On-campus part-time jobs are also regularly posted to the platform by campus departments.

Rutgers Internship and Co-op Course (RICC)—Undergraduate Students
The Rutgers Internship and Co-Op Course (RICC) is a 3 or 6-credit general elective course that students can take concurrently with an internship or co-op experience to earn academic credit. The course is housed in Canvas and is an asynchronous with three virtual synchronous meetings throughout the semester. Applications are now open for those interning this Spring, and the application deadline is mid-January 2023. Learn more and apply here.

Rutgers Summer Service Internship (RSSI) Program—Undergraduate Students
The Rutgers Summer Service Internship Program (RSSI) provides select students with an opportunity to earn up to $5,000 while interning for a minimum of 150-hours over 10-12 weeks during the summer at a public service non-profit organization or direct-service government office. Students also participate in a concurrent virtual, asynchronous internship course designed to explore and engage with the topic of public service while building their career readiness and professionalism skills. The program is accepting student applications for the summer 2023 cohort. The application deadline is Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Learn more and apply here.
