Disclosure Statements
Students can find legal disclosures and information concerning academic programs, drug and alcohol policies, including the Drug Free Schools and Campuses Act, the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, institutional and specialized accreditation, nondiscrimination and harassment, Title IX, public safety information, peer-to-peer file sharing, withdrawal from the institution, and more here.

Student Policy Prohibiting Sexual Harassment, Sexual Violence, Relationship Violence, Stalking and Related Misconduct
This policy contains a comprehensive explanation of “consent,” describes the rights that apply to both the accused and accuser, and lists the range of protective measures the university may offer during and after an investigation. Learn more here.

Policy Against Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying, and Defamation
Intolerance, bigotry, and bullying are antithetical to the values of the university. The Rutgers Code of Student Conduct prohibits harassment, intimidation, bullying, and defamation. The Code of Conduct contains definitions, descriptions of violations, and procedures for addressing violations. Students who wish to discuss any matter with the police or feel they are in need of immediate police attention may contact the Rutgers University Police Department: New Brunswick (732-932-7111), Newark (973-353-5111), Camden (856-225-6111).

Pregnant Students

Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who anticipate completing May 2019 degree requirements must apply for graduation by submitting a diploma application online. Please contact the Undergraduate Registrar’s Office at 848-445-2757 and ask for Monica Licourt or Michael Rusen, or email diplomas@registrar.rutgers.edu with any concerns about a diploma application. Please note that completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.

2019 Summer Session Registration—All Students
Registration for Summer Session 2019 begins on Monday, February 18. Choose from more than 2,500 courses in a wide range of subjects, offered in-person, online, or at off-campus locations throughout the state. Make progress towards graduation, improve a GPA, or fulfill a prerequisite this summer. Learn more here.

Call for Participants in the Graduate Student Colloquium on Paul Robeson—Graduate Students
Master and doctoral-level students are invited to register as teams of three or four for the Graduate Student Colloquium on Paul Robeson: Alum, Activist, Scholar, Athlete, and Global Citizen. This colloquium takes place on April 5 in the Rutgers Academic Building on the College Avenue Campus. The first place team will receive a prize of $1,000, second place will receive $500, and third place receives $250. One undergraduate student can be included on each team. Applications and presentation proposal abstracts are due by March 1. This colloquium is part of the Paul Robeson Centennial celebration. Learn more about guidelines and register here.

Study Abroad Applications—All Students
Applications for summer, fall, and academic year study abroad programs are due Friday, March 1. Applications for Spring 2020 are also open and are due on October 1. Walk-in hours are Monday–Friday, noon–3 p.m., at Rutgers Global–Study Abroad on the College Avenue Campus. Learn more, search programs, and apply here.

Apply to do an Internship Abroad this Summer—All Students
Rutgers Global–Study Abroad offers a wide variety of internship opportunities around the world over the summer. Study marine science in the Cayman Islands, or intern at a company in the bustling city of London. Study Art History in Rome this Summer—Undergraduate Students 
Undergraduate students may apply for the summer program Art History in Rome. This program is a five-week intensive course led by faculty from the Rutgers University Art History Department. Classes are taught almost entirely onsite, making Rome an open-air textbook of art and architecture across centuries of Roman history. The application deadline is March 1. Learn more here. 

Applications for the Class of 2020 Eagleton Fellowship Program in Politics and Government—Graduate Students
The Eagleton Fellowship Program in Politics and Government is a one-year interdisciplinary certificate program available to graduate students in ALL Rutgers schools and departments. Full/part-time and international students are also eligible to apply. Stipends and tuition remission are available. Students continue working towards their degrees without interruption and learn about real-world American politics, government, and public affairs.
