Spring 2020 Add/Drop Dates—Undergraduate Students
January 21: Classes begin. Add/Drop for all students begins.
January 28: Last day to drop courses without a "W" grade
January 29: Last day to add courses
Normal Webreg hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. The Office of the Registrar is located in Records Hall on the College Avenue Campus. Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounting—All Students
Moving forward, please visit suite 140 in Records Hall on the College Avenue Campus for in-person assistance regarding Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Accounting. Please continue to make all payments online at paymybill.rutgers.edu. Students may visit the Cashier’s Office in suite 138 of Records Hall for in-person payments only. Office hours for walk-in inquiries are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
View and Pay Spring Semester Term Bills—All Students
Students can view and pay their spring semester term bills at paymybill.rutgers.edu. Term bills not paid by the due date will be assessed a late payment fee of $125.00. Students can also choose to enroll in a payment plan for assistance with paying their term bill balances at paymentplans.rutgers.edu. Students can authorize a third party or a parent with access to make payments on their behalf. Simply log into the term bill and use the “Manage Access” section to provide access to the designated payer.
Remission on Term Bill
Student Accounting, Billing and Cashier Services (Student ABC) is pleased to announce an enhanced process which displays estimated tuition remission on the Online Term Bill (OTB) for all eligible and appointed remission recipients. Once a student is eligible and appointed, Student ABC will display the estimated tuition remission amount on OTB. With the estimated amount displayed, students will now have the opportunity to proactively address any term bill charges due, that is not covered by the remission benefit, if applicable.
1098Ts
Starting at the end of January, students will receive an email notification with instructions for viewing and printing the 2019 1098T tax forms for Educational Tax Credits. Students with scholarships and grant aid greater than their qualified tuition and fee charges are not eligible to claim a tax deduction and will not see a 1098T form. Sign Up for Direct Deposit to Receive Refunds—All Students
Students are strongly encouraged to sign up for direct deposit with RU ScholarRefund for the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds. Funds are available for immediate use once deposited. Learn more and enroll in RU ScholarRefund here.
Dining Plan Change and Cancellation Requests—All Students
Dining Plan change and cancellation requests for the Spring 2020 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, February 4, 2020. This is the only time during the semester reductions and cancellations will be allowed. Requests may also be made online here.
RU Express Cancellation and Reduction Requests—All Students
RU Express initial deposit cancellation and reduction requests for the Spring 2020 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, February 4, 2020. This is the only time during the semester cancellations or reductions will be allowed and only if the money for the Spring 2020 semester HAS NOT been used. Requests may also be made online here.

Applications for SC&I Undergraduate Admission—Undergraduate Students
The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is now accepting applications for admission to the Communication, Information Technology and Informatics, and Journalism and Media Studies majors. View admission requirements and access the online application here. The deadline for applications is February 14. An undergraduate information session will be held on February 3 at 6 p.m. in room 323 of the SC&I building on the College Avenue Campus. First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS) Peer Instructor Recruitment—Undergraduate Students
Students who are interested in what it would be like to teach at Rutgers are invited to apply to the First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS). FIGS are one-credit courses taught by upper-class students to aid first-year students in their transition to college while exploring an academic interest area. FIGS Peer Instructors receive a stipend of $1250 and earn three credits for a course they will enroll in during the Fall 2020 semester. The application deadline is by noon on January 24, 2020. Applications for the Rutgers–Eagleton Washington Internship Award—Undergraduate Students
The Rutgers–Eagleton Washington Internship Award Program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 to current Rutgers undergraduate students for summer internships in government or the nonprofit sector in Washington, D.C. This monetary award is intended to ease the financial burden of working in Washington, D.C. by offsetting living expenses. Undergraduates from all majors are encouraged to apply. Applicants are not required to have an internship in place at the time of application. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on February 7, 2020. Learn more about the award program here.
Applications for the European Summer Institute—All Students
The Master’s Program in Political Science–United Nations and Global Policy Studies at the School of Arts and Sciences is accepting study abroad applications from graduate and high-achieving undergraduate students for the European Summer Institute. This six-week home-stay program exposes students to courses on the EU, UN, migration, gender, and development. The program is in english. The application deadline is February 15, 2020. Rutgers Day Program Submissions—All Students
The Rutgers Day program submission period is now open. All academic and administrative units, student clubs and organizations, and performance groups are encouraged to submit a program and participate in the largest annual outreach event the university offers. Rutgers Day is on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and programs must be submitted by February 17. Visit the Rutgers Day website by logging in with a NetID to submit a program, review guidelines and policies, and download marketing materials to promote activities.
Rutgers Internship Excellence Awards—Undergraduate Students
The Rutgers Internship Excellence Awards, sponsored by the Office of Career Exploration and Success, was established to help recognize the outstanding contributions of Rutgers–New Brunswick undergraduate interns. Winners will be recognized at the Career Knights of Distinction awards dinner on Thursday, April 30, and also receive a $200 award. The application deadline is March 1, 2020. Applications for the Rutgers Law 3+3 Program (Bachelor’s/J.D. Dual Degree)—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students considering law school can complete the Rutgers Law 3+3 Program in just six years, instead of the usual seven years to earn an undergraduate and law degree. The program is open to students across all Rutgers campuses who complete the application process by March 1 of their third undergraduate year. 2020 Summer Session Schedule Now Available—All Students
The schedule of classes for the Summer 2020 term is now available. Choose from more than 2,500 courses in a wide range of subjects, offered in-person, online, or at an off-campus location throughout the state.
