Important Information Regarding COVID-19 
The Universitywide COVID-19 Information Page is your official source of information about the university’s response to COVID-19. This page has resources for students and parents along with announcements pertaining to COVID-19, FAQs, and the operating statuses of services, facilities, and offices at Rutgers. You are encouraged to check this site frequently.

COVID-19 Testing Information—All Students
All students living in campus housing, living off-campus in the New Brunswick/Piscataway area, and students in groups required to receive testing can access testing through Rutgers Student Health. Details about testing can be found here.

• Off-campus students must register their local address here. Local addresses are needed in order for public health officials to properly track and respond to the pandemic. 
• There is no cost for testing through Rutgers Student Health.
• Students who experience symptoms, had contact with someone who tested positive, are worried, or are unsure about getting tested, should call Rutgers Student Health at 848-932-7402. Student Health will schedule a same-day appointment time to speak with a clinician, answer questions, and provide a test that day.

2021–2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Is Now Available
The 2021–2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. Continuing students should file before the January 15 priority deadline. Learn how to apply for financial aid here.

Financial Holds—All Students 
Financial holds will be placed on accounts with unpaid balances. These holds will prevent students from registering for spring semester classes. Students enrolled in tuition payment plans should make sure their accounts are current. Financial aid recipients should review aid packages and check required documents on the Financial Aid webpage to make sure all documents have been submitted. Students can view the balances on their accounts here.

Winter 2020 and Spring 2021 Rutgers Tuition Payment Plans—All Students 
Winter and Spring tuition payment plans are now available. Students looking to sign up for a Spring payment plan need to log into the current semester term bill to sign up until the Spring term bills are released. The deadline to sign up for a Winter payment plan is December 5, 2020. Visit paymentplans.rutgers.edu for more information.

Cast Ballots Early for the 2020 General Election—All Students
All active registered voters in New Jersey will receive an official ballot at the address listed on their voter registration. Students can complete official ballots and submit it one of four ways:

• Drop off at their designated polling location on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3
• Use one of their county's secure dropboxes
• Deliver in person to their county's Board of Elections office
• Mail via the US Postal Service–no postage necessary

Resident Assistant Recruitment for 2021–2022—Undergraduate Students
Students who would like to become a Rutgers University–New Brunswick Resident Assistant for 2021–2022 should apply by Monday, November 30, 2020. Check out eligibility requirements and job expectations here.

Flu Vaccination Clinics—All Students
Flu vaccination clinics will run throughout October 2020. All clinics will run from 1–6 p.m. Students must make an appointment via the Patient Portal at nbstudenthealthportal.rutgers.edu. In the interest of practicing safe physical distancing, walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Students may also make an appointment for vaccination at Hurtado Health Center. Applications for the New SC&I Master's Program in Health Communication and Information—All Students
The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is hosting two online information sessions for the new Master of Health Communication and Information program. The first information session is on Thursday, November 5, at noon, and the second on Wednesday, November 18, at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Richard Dool, MHCI Program Director, will discuss program details, the application and admissions process, and careers in the health and communication field. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2020. Please RSVP to the information sessions here.

Bloustein Master of Public Policy (MPP) & Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) Virtual Information Sessions—All Students
The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy is hosting virtual information sessions for their Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) programs. Students can learn more about the program curriculums, application requirements, career services support for students, and scholarship opportunities. The MCRP program is ranked #3 in the nation by Planetizen.com. The GRE has been waived for both programs for Fall 2021 due to COVID-19. Students must RSVP for the MPP session taking place on October 21 at 7 p.m. here, and the MCRP sessions taking place on October 28 at 7 p.m. or October 29 at 8 a.m. here.

Applications for the Eagleton Undergraduate Associates Program—Juniors in all Rutgers Schools
Applications are being accepted for the Class of 2022 Eagleton Institute of Politics Undergraduate Associates Program. This program is open to juniors from all Rutgers campus locations. Students learn about political power and decision-making while building knowledge, leadership, and professional skills. Students will also build networks for political, government, and community engagement and gain valuable experience in summer or fall internships. Applications & Virtual Information Session for the Master’s Program in Political Science–Concentration in the United Nations and Global Policy Studies—Undergraduate Students
The Department of Political Science at the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) is accepting applications from high-achieving undergraduate students for the Accelerated Master’s Program in Political Science–United Nations and Global Policy Studies (UNMA) on a rolling basis. This 36-credit program gives students an opportunity to reduce graduate program costs and obtain an M.A. degree in a shorter time period. Students can view a list of virtual programming on the Student Center and Activities' website. Events are hosted by groups such as the Rutgers Esports Center, Rutgers University Programming Association (RUPA) and the Rutgers Commuter Student Association (RCSA), and more. Scarlet Knight Challenge—Undergraduate Students
Complete the Scarlet Knight Challenge before the end of October by attending highlighted events. New students who take the challenge will have the opportunity to build connections with students who are part of the Rutgers community and connect with resources and services that will assist them in their transition. Students can request a free Diversity Peer Education Workshop in topics such as Race in America, Gender in Society: Feminism, Police Brutality, and more. These workshops are facilitated by students, for students. Request a free workshop and see all topics here.
