View and Pay Fall Semester Term Bills—All Students
Students are expected to pay term bill charges on or before the first day of classes. Students who register on or after the first day of classes must pay the day of registration. To pay a bill via electronic check (with no fee) or by credit card (with a convenience fee), please log in with netID and password here. Unpaid term bills will be assessed late payment fees. Learn more about late fees here. Students whose accounts show a balance and are unable to pay the full amount due by the due date should enroll in one of the Rutgers University Tuition Payment Plans (RUTPP) for the fall semester. Sign Up for Electronic Deposit to Receive Refunds—All Students
Students are encouraged to sign up for electronic deposit with RU ScholarRefund for the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds. Funds are available for immediate use once deposited electronically via RU ScholarRefund. Learn more here.
Dining Plan Change and Cancellation Requests—All Students
Dining plan change and cancellation requests for the Fall 2017 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, September 19, 2017. This is the only time during the semester that reductions and cancellations will be allowed. Requests may also be made online here.
RU Express Cancellation and Reduction Requests—All Students
RU Express initial deposit cancellation and reduction requests for the Fall 2017 semester are now being accepted in person at the RU Express and Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102, on the College Avenue Campus until Tuesday, September 19, 2017. This is the only time during the semester that cancellations or reductions will be allowed and only if the money for the Fall 2017 semester HAS NOT been used. Requests may also be made online here.
PNC Bank ATMs
Rutgers has finalized its agreement with PNC Bank to install new ATMs on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus. The machines have been installed at the following locations: Busch Student Center, College Avenue Student Activities Center, College Avenue Student Center, Cook Student Center, Douglass Student Center, Livingston Student Center, and Livingston Student Housing Building A.
Schedule of Classes for Winter Now Available—All Students
The schedule of classes for the Winter 2018 term is now available. Earn up to four credits during winter break. Choose from 150 courses in a wide range of subjects. Courses are offered in face-to-face, online or hybrid format. Plan schedules now and begin registering on October 2. Learn more here.
Applications for Membership in Phi Sigma Iota–International Foreign Language Honor Society—All Eligible Students
Phi Sigma Iota, the International Foreign Language Honor Society, is accepting membership applications through October 6 from juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are currently taking 200-level courses or higher in one or more foreign languages. Applicants must have maintained a 3.5 average or higher in all language courses taken at Rutgers University. Information and application forms are available in the language departments and online here. Instructions are available online for applications submitted via email. Applications may also be submitted to our mailbox in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese (Rutgers Academic Building, 5th Floor). Please send any questions to lesit@rci.rutgers.edu.
Applications for Admission to SC&I Undergraduate Programs—Undergraduate Students
The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is now accepting applications for admission to the Communication, Information Technology and Informatics, and Journalism and Media Studies majors. Visit the SC&I undergraduate admission webpage to review the admission requirements and to access the online application. The deadline for applying online is Friday, October 6, 2017. Applications for the Eagleton Undergraduate Associates Program—Juniors in all Rutgers Schools
Applications are now being accepted for the Class of 2019 Eagleton Institute of Politics Undergraduate Associates program. Learn about the practice of politics, public policy, and government from experts in the field and build networks to affect positive change. Applications are open to Rutgers Juniors and the deadline is October 23, 2017. Learn more here.
Applications for The Scarlet Honor Council
The Office of Student Conduct is currently accepting applications for the 2017–2018 academic year for the Scarlet Honor Council. The Scarlet Honor Council is a team of students committed to upholding Rutgers community standards and promoting a safe and civil campus environment. All members of the Rutgers student body are encouraged to apply to the Council, regardless of major, class year, or full- or part-time status. Learn more and apply here.

Did You Know
Did you know that you can borrow original works of art through PAW Prints (Prints Available for Walls)? PAW Prints is a loan program for students who want to borrow original, framed works of art in print and paper for a dorm or apartment for a semester. Students can take advantage of this program on September 22 at 11 a.m. at the Brodsky Center (Civic Square Building, room 203). There are 32 works for 32 students on a first come, first served basis. Please bring $5 for a membership fee and your Rutgers ID. Contact info@brodskycenter.org or 848-932-5246 with any questions.
