Wednesday, September 8, follows a Monday class schedule due to the shortened class week.

September 1:
Classes begin
September 10: Last day to add courses, or drop courses without a "W" grade (New Date)
October 25: Last day to withdraw from a course with a "W" grade
November 22: Last day to withdraw from the university for Fall 2021

6:30 a.m.–midnight, Monday through Friday
6:30 a.m.–2 p.m. on Saturdays

View and Pay Fall Semester Term Bills—All Students
Fall semester term bills are now available to view and make payment. Term bills not paid by the due date will be assessed a late payment fee of $125.00. It is recommended that students enroll in one of the Rutgers University Tuition Payment Plans (RUTPP) for those unable to pay the full amount due by the due date. Please view additional information and payment plan options here.

Dining Plan Change and Cancellation Requests—All Students
Dining plan change and cancellation requests for the Fall 2021 semester are now being accepted online until Wednesday, September 15, 2021. This is the only time during the semester that reductions and cancellations will be allowed.

RU Express Cancellation and Reduction Requests—All Students
RU Express initial deposit cancellation and reduction requests for the Fall 2021 semester are now being accepted online until Wednesday, September 15, 2021. This is the only time during the semester that cancellations or reductions will be allowed and only if the money for the Fall 2021 semester HAS NOT been used.

Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who anticipate completing January 2022 degree requirements must apply for graduation by submitting a diploma application online, or a hard copy (PDF) if the deadline has been missed. The January deadline is January 15, 2022. For any questions concerning a diploma application, please contact the Undergraduate Registrar’s Office at 848-445-2757 and ask for Tia Williams, or use this contact form. Please note that completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.

Financial

One Stop Student Services Center and Walk-Ins—All Students
The One Stop Student Services Center (One Stop) at Rutgers University–New Brunswick represents an integrated and coordinated cross-functional service in the areas of financial aid, student accounts, and registration.  One Stop acts as a “single point of service” across these areas to promote a progressive, simplified, and consistent student experience and a culture that supports student satisfaction and success. Questions can be submitted using the contact form or by visiting the One Stop at Dr. Samuel Dewitt Proctor Hall located at 65 Davidson Road on Busch Campus. No appointments are necessary for walk-ins. The center is open Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

myGuest Authorized User Access for Term Bills, Grades, and More—All Students
Students can now authorize a third party or a parent with access to review academic records or make payments on their behalf. In order to grant this access, students must log in to their myRutgers Dashboard, and use the "Authorized Access" icon to provide access to the desired authorized party. Additional instructions for the myGuest Dashboard can be found here.

Set Up Electronic Deposit to Receive Refunds Faster—All Students
Students are strongly encouraged to set up direct deposit for the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds. Funds are available for immediate use once deposited electronically. Learn more about electronic deposit here.

New Student ABC Payment Center—All Students
The New Brunswick Payment Center is now located within the Dr. Samuel DeWitt Proctor Hall (formerly Administrative Services Building, Busch Campus) which is accessible via the One Stop Student Services Center. The Payment Center offers an in-person cash payment service by appointment only. Please direct all term bill-related questions to the One Stop Student Services Center.

Health

Rutgers Student Health's Services—Undergraduate Students
Rutgers Student Health is here for all of your health and wellness needs, providing a hybrid of services this fall. Health Services is providing all its regular clinical services, including:

  • General Medicine
  • Preventative Care
  • Sexual Health & Reproductive
  • Gender-Specific Health
  • Immunizations & Allergy Shots
  • Sports Medicine

Appointments are available via tele-health, over the phone, on in-person. To make a medical appointment, call 848-932-7402 or use the Online Patient Portal.

Counseling, Alcohol and Other Drug Assistance Program & Psychiatric Services (CAPS) is offering both in-person and remote counseling options. Services include:

  • Individual therapy
  • Community-Based Counseling
  • Group therapy
  • Skill-Building Workshops
  • Immediate support for students in crisis
  • Alcohol and other drug assistance programs
  • Psychiatric care/medication management
  • Community Referrals

Health, Outreach, Promotion and Education (HOPE) is offering services in-person or virtually including:

  • Peer Educator-Led Workshops and Trainings
  • Wellness Coaching
  • Alcohol Education Workshops

Disclosure Statements
Students can find legal disclosures and information concerning academic programs, drug and alcohol policies, including the Drug Free Schools and Campuses Act, the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, institutional and specialized accreditation, nondiscrimination and harassment, Title IX, public safety information, peer-to-peer file sharing, withdrawal from the institution, and more here.

Title IX Policy and Grievance Procedures
Rutgers prohibits discrimination based on sex. Our new, interim Title IX Policy and Grievance Procedures contains a comprehensive explanation of “consent,” describes the rights that apply to both the complainant and respondent and lists the range of supportive measures the university may offer before, during, and after the investigation. Policy Against Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying, and Defamation
Intolerance, bigotry, and bullying are antithetical to the values of the university and the Rutgers Code of Student Conduct prohibits harassment, intimidation, bullying, and defamation. The Code of Student Conduct contains definitions, descriptions of violations, and procedures for addressing violations. Students who wish to discuss any matter with the police or feel they are in need of immediate police attention may contact the Rutgers–New Brunswick University Police Department at 732-932-7111.

Academics

Applications for the Bloustein School's Mary Ann and Steven J. Allard Fellowship Program—Undergraduate Students
The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and the Allard Family have established a fellowship for outstanding, declared, and non-traditional public health students who have demonstrated a personal commitment or outstanding academic potential in their public health studies. For 2021-2022, two eligible undergraduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA will be selected as fellows to receive $2,000 each. The deadline for applications is October 15, 2021.
