You are encouraged to check this site frequently.

Spring 2023 Pre-Registration—All Students
Pre-Registration for Spring 2023 has begun for New Brunswick graduate students, and undergraduate students and continues through Thursday, November 17. Registration for undergraduate students is by degree credits already earned. View pre-registration dates here and submit questions to the One Stop Student Services Center.

Registration for Winter Term—All Students
Registration for the Winter 2023 term has begun. Earn credits towards a degree during winter break and choose from 150 courses in a wide range of subjects. Learn more about winter session here.

Fall 2022 Add/Drop Dates—Undergraduate Students
Thursday, December 15, is the last day to withdraw from the University for Fall 2022. Normal Webreg hours are 6:30 a.m.—midnight, Monday through Friday, and 6:30 a.m.—2 p.m. on Saturdays. Learn more and view the Fall 2022 Undergraduate Calendar here. Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who anticipate completing January 2023 degree requirements must apply for graduation by submitting a diploma application online or a hard copy if the deadline has been missed. The deadline is January 15, 2023. Submit diploma application questions to the One Stop Student Services Center. Please note that completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.

Financial

Student Health Insurance Information—All Students
Students who have failed to waive or enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan before the deadline for the Fall 2022 semester should follow these guidelines:

• Failed to Waive? Students are being enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan and will be responsible for the premium on the term bill even if they have other health insurance. Students can complete a waiver appeal form before November 30, 2022, at www.universityhealthplans.com. F & J Rutgers visa-sponsored students must contact Eirinn Jones at Rutgers Global before the deadline for waiver appeal guidelines at eljones@global.rutgers.edu by November 30, 2022.
• Failed to Enroll? Students are now being enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), which will cause a delay in accessing insurance cards. Students can visit www.uhcsr.com to create an account and access insurance cards in a few weeks. Please note that students should be proactive and enroll before the deadline each semester to avoid having to pay out-of-pocket expenses for medical care—including medication—and then seeking reimbursement.

Winter 2023 Payment Plans—All Students
The Rutgers University Tuition Payment Plan (RUTPP) allows students to pay term bills in monthly payments. The last day to enroll in the payment plan for Winter 2023 is December 5, 2022. Learn more and enroll in payment plans here.

Information for Federal Government's Student Debt Relief Plan—All Students
The federal government has announced a plan to cancel up to $10,000 in federal student debt for Americans earning less than $125,000 per year ($250,000 for couples), and up to $20,000 for borrowers who received Pell Grants while they were in college. Learn more about the debt relief program here.

Taxable Tuition Remission—Students Who are Staff or Faculty
Please refer to the 2022 Tax Withholding Schedule for Fall 2022 withholding dates.

Fall semester term bills are now available to view and make payment. 

Set Up Direct Deposit to Receive Refunds Faster—All Students
Direct deposit is the fastest, safest, and most convenient way to receive refunds issued by Rutgers. All students are required to enroll in direct deposit. Please note that direct deposit is currently not available for summer. View instructions for setting up direct deposit here.

Cash Payments—All Students
Due to the health and safety concerns associated with handling cash for students and staff, we strongly encourage using electronic payment methods instead of cash payments. Please review payment options and the Cash Handling Policy for more information.

GradGuard Epidemic Coverage Endorsement—All Students
GradGuard Tuition Insurance Plans purchased on or after February 18, 2022, now include the Epidemic Coverage Endorsement, which can provide coverage for when an insured student completely withdraws from school for the covered term due to becoming ill with any epidemic or pandemic disease, including COVID-19 and Monkeypox. myGuest Authorized User Access for Term Bills, Grades, and More—All Students
Students can authorize a third party or a parent with access to review academic records, view financial aid rewards, or make payments on their behalf. To grant this access, students must log in to their myRutgers Dashboard, and use the "Authorized Access" icon to provide access to the desired authorized party. Additional instructions for the myGuest Dashboard can be found here.

One Stop Student Services Center and Walk-Ins—All Students
The One Stop Student Services Center (One Stop) at Rutgers University–New Brunswick represents an integrated and coordinated cross-functional service in the areas of financial aid, student accounts, and registration.  One Stop acts as a “single point of service” across these areas to promote a progressive, simplified, and consistent student experience and a culture that supports student satisfaction and success. Questions can be submitted using the contact form, by phone at 848-445-4636 (INFO), or by visiting the One Stop at Dr. Samuel Dewitt Proctor Hall located at 65 Davidson Road on Busch Campus. No appointments are necessary for walk-ins. The center is open Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students can follow updates from One Stop on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Health

Healthy Minds Survey—All Students
Rutgers University–New Brunswick is conducting a campus-wide survey about student health and well-being. The purpose of this study is to better understand student mental health, sources of support, and other mental and emotional health topics. All students are invited to participate and this confidential survey will be open through November 23. Please take the survey here and learn more about the Healthy Minds Study here.

Get Ready for Flu Season with Flu Vaccination Clinics—All Students
Fall 2022 Flu Vaccination Clinics will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

•    Thursday, November 17: Multipurpose Room of the Busch Student Center
•    Wednesday November 30: The Yard at Sojourner Truth Apartments, College Avenue Campus

Engagement Hub Is Here—Undergraduate Students
The Engagement Hub is a new addition offered by the Student Activities Center and will serve as a resource for students looking to get involved on campus. The Engagement Hub is the home for the Engagement Ambassadors who are knowledgeable undergraduate student consultants who serve as a resource for their fellow Scarlet Knights. Academics

Take the Diversity Peer Educator Course—Undergraduate Students
Students are invited to register for this spring’s Diversity Peer Educator Course, a 7-week, 1.5 credit course coordinated through the Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities and the Department of Residence Life. The course prepares students to navigate challenging and engaging discourse while enhancing leadership skills. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, December 1, 2022. Applications for the Ph.D. Program in Industrial Relations and Human Resources—All Students
The School of Management and Labor Relations is accepting applications for the Ph.D. program in Industrial Relations and Human Resources (IRHR) from Rutgers undergraduate and graduate students of all majors and concentrations. The IRHR Ph.D. program trains students to design, conduct, and publish rigorous research on the world of work and workers in leading scholarly journals, and prepares students for research-oriented careers in academia. Learn more about the program here.

Register for Bloustein School's Virtual Information Sessions for their Master’s Programs in Public Affairs & Politics, Public Informatics, and Health Administration—All Students
The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy is hosting virtual information sessions for their master’s programs in Public Informatics, Health Administration, and Public Affairs & Politics. The GRE is waived for Fall 2023 applications and scholarships are available. The deadline to apply is July 1, 2023. No work experience is necessary. Applications for the Master’s Program in Political Science–Concentration in the United Nations and Global Policy Studies and Virtual Inforamation Sessions—Undergraduate Students
The Department of Political Science at the School of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications from high-achieving undergraduate students for the Accelerated Master’s Program in Political Science–United Nations and Global Policy Studies (UNMA) on a rolling basis. This 36-credit program gives students an opportunity to reduce graduate program costs and obtain an M.A. degree in a shorter time. Success.rutgers.edu is dedicated to helping students find all of the services and resources to succeed and is organized around four themes: Success Essentials, Academic Support Services, Involvement & Community, and Experiential Learning & Career Preparation. The site is easily searchable and includes important "How To" instructional videos and guides for topics such as Course Scheduling, Add/Drop, Canvas, Teams, the Handshake Career Management platform, and more.

15+ to Finish Campaign—All Students
Rutgers–New Brunswick is kicking off 15+ to Finish, a campaign that encourages students to enroll in and successfully complete 15 or more credits each semester and connects them with the resources to help stay on track to graduation. Completing 15+ credits per semester can help students pursue a path to graduating in four years with less debt. Students can utilize campus resources on Success.rutgers.edu, a comprehensive webpage of all the services, tools, and resources to help students stay on track to graduation and thrive at Rutgers and beyond.

Mastering the Art of Networking Career Conference and Etiquette Dinner—All Students
The Office of Career Exploration and Success invites students who want to learn how to network or enhance their job search prospects to the Mastering the Art of Networking: A Career Conference and Etiquette Dinner. This immersive experience empowers students to overcome the initial fears of networking, master the art of working a room, feel confident with small talk, and develop a professional online brand. The conference is capped off by a facilitated etiquette dinner featuring a two-course meal. Learn more and register here.
