Disclosure Statements
Students can find legal disclosures and information concerning academic programs, drug and alcohol policies, including the Drug Free Schools and Campuses Act, the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, institutional and specialized accreditation, nondiscrimination and harassment, Title IX, public safety information, peer-to-peer file sharing, withdrawal from the institution, and more here.

Suicide Prevention Act
Rutgers has individuals with training and experience in mental health issues who focus on reducing student suicides and attempted suicides. These individuals are available on campus or remotely by telephone or other means for students 24 hours a day, seven days a week. File Sharing Software 
The sharing of music and movies through the use of file sharing peer to peer (P2P) software available online is discouraged due to copyright and security issues. In compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), the university has provided guidelines to inform students about copyright laws. Copyright infringement and unauthorized distribution are against the law and will be enforced. Learn more here. 

Minors on Campus 
Guidelines for appropriate protection and supervision of minors participating in university-sponsored programs, or in programs operated by outside entities that are held in university facilities, can be found here.

Financial Holds—All Students
Financial holds will be placed on accounts which have unpaid balances. These holds will prevent students from registering for Fall 2019 semester classes. Students who are enrolled in tuition payment plans should make sure that the last payment on a plan will satisfy any outstanding balance. Financial aid recipients should check online to make sure all financial aid has been credited. View the balance of a student account here.

Important Graduation Information—Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who anticipate completing May 2019 degree requirements must apply for graduation by submitting a diploma application online. Please contact the Undergraduate Registrar’s Office at 848-445-2757 and ask for Monica Licourt or Michael Rusen, or email diplomas@registrar.rutgers.edu with any concerns about a diploma application. Please note that completion of a diploma application does not imply that graduation requirements have been met.

2019 Summer Session Registration—All Students
Registration for Summer Session 2019 has begun. Choose from more than 2,500 courses in a wide range of subjects, offered in-person, online, or at off-campus locations throughout the state. Make progress towards graduation, improve a GPA, or fulfill a prerequisite this summer. Learn more here.

SMLR Human Resource Management Undergraduate Majors and Master’s Program—All Students
The School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR) Human Resource Management (HRM) Department is currently accepting students for the undergraduate major and minor. Details can be found here. Applications are also being accepted for the HRM master’s program. There will be an information session for both programs Tuesday, March 5, from 5-7 p.m. in the Gathering Lounge of the Livingston Student Center. Learn more here.

Call for Participants in the Graduate Student Colloquium on Paul Robeson—Graduate Students
Master and doctoral-level students are invited to register as teams of three or four for the Graduate Student Colloquium on Paul Robeson: Alum, Activist, Scholar, Athlete, and Global Citizen. This colloquium takes place on April 5 in the Rutgers Academic Building on the College Avenue Campus. The first place team will receive a prize of $1,000, second place will receive $500, and third place receives $250. One undergraduate student can be included on each team. Applications and presentation proposal abstracts are due by March 1. This colloquium is part of the Paul Robeson Centennial celebration. Learn more about guidelines and register here.

Study Abroad Applications—All Students
Applications for summer, fall, and academic year study abroad programs are due Friday, March 1. Applications for Spring 2020 are also open and are due on October 1. Walk-in hours are Monday–Friday, noon–3 p.m., at Rutgers Global–Study Abroad on the College Avenue Campus. Learn more, search programs, and apply here.

Apply to Study the Art and Science of Black Tea in India this Summer—All Students
Registration is open for this three-week, three-credit summer study abroad program where students can experience the culture of India and its people while learning about production and management practices in the black tea industry. The application deadline is March 1. Learn more and apply here.

Apply to do an Internship Abroad this Summer—All Students
Rutgers Global–Study Abroad offers a wide variety of internship opportunities around the world over the summer. Study marine science in the Cayman Islands, or intern at a company in the bustling city of London. Applications for the Class of 2020 Eagleton Fellowship Program in Politics and Government—Graduate Students
The Eagleton Fellowship Program in Politics and Government is a one-year interdisciplinary certificate program available to graduate students in ALL Rutgers schools and departments. Full/part-time and international students are also eligible to apply. Stipends and tuition remission are available. Students continue working towards their degrees without interruption and learn about real-world American politics, government, and public affairs.
