Introducing QuickSearch, an Improved Search Tool for Rutgers University Libraries—All Students
On June 1, Rutgers University Libraries are releasing QuickSearch, a new tool that will allow students to search across collections and media types with greater efficiency, accuracy, and relevancy, request materials in print and electronic formats, and manage library accounts within a single integrated interface. This change may impact students who are conducting research in two areas: saved items and searches, and interlibrary loans. Items and searches saved from the Library Catalog to library accounts will no longer be available on June 1. Furthermore, items and searches saved from Articles+ to My EBSCOhost accounts will no longer be available after September 30. There will be delays and interruptions in processing loans and borrows of physical items from non-Rutgers libraries from May 28 to May 31. This will not affect interlibrary loans of digital materials. Please send any questions or suggestions for the QuickSearch team to reference@rutgers.libanswers.com. Learn more about QuickSearch services and changes here.
